We are two 18 year olds, Kristófer Reynisson from Reykjavik, Iceland and Iker Elosua from Barcelona, Spain, now living in Switzerland. We both take the International Baccalaureate at the International School of Zug and Luzern.
The charity that we are collecting donations for is called Björgunarsveit Hafnarfjarðar but ever since Kris turned 8 years old he has been involved in an annual foundraising event with this charity, selling fireworks. His grandfather has also been working with them for over fourty years which is why it holds a special place in Kris's family.
In February we will be running in the Seville marathon in order to collect sponsors willing to donate to Björgunarsveit Hafnarfjarðar. Our goal is to collect donations to give to Björgunarsveit Hafnarfjarðar so they can train and employ a new search dog in order to help them carry out their missions.
